About IELTS Life Skills

IELTS Life Skills is a UK government-approved English language test specifically designed for those applying for UK visas. The test focuses on Speaking and Listening skills at CEFR levels A1, A2, and B1.

Unlike the full IELTS Academic or General Training, IELTS Life Skills assesses your ability to communicate in everyday situations through a face-to-face speaking test and listening tasks. The test is pass/fail, and you'll receive your results within 7 days.
